The CLI Engage Data Squad hosted our first-ever Data Conference for three days in September 2021! CLI directors, faculty, the CLI Technology Management team, the Data Squad education advisor team, and other key CLI staff presented a variety of data-related topics. To start us off, our keynote, Dr April Crawford helps you marvel at continuous improvement, setting the stage for the rest of the conference. Don’t miss these sessions as you hone the superpowers you need to leap into a great year!

Channel your VISION superpower with Oversight! With enhanced vision, you will be able to narrow in on a task and help solve problems! Oversight will help you better understand:
Rainbow will help you manifest the EMPATHY you need to eliminate biases and create a culture of empathy and understanding!
Rainbow’s sessions offer strategies for:
- Cognitive biases that may interfere with teaching and learning
- Creating a supportive campus culture of data-based decision making
- Understanding psychometrics
Hot Streak will empower you to use your SPEED to rapidly make smart decisions to improve campus instruction and environment.
Join Hot Streak to gain understanding of:
- Reading and understanding visual data
- Understanding assessments used in RTI data-based decision making
Big Data will give you the STRENGTH you need to help others around you as they learn about data and improving early childhood outcomes.
Join Big Data as you:
- Get all the information you need on continuous improvement
- Learn how CLI uses data to plan for systematic change and improvement
Sessions are brief at around 30 minutes each. These will be scheduled throughout the three conference days, allowing participants to take advantage of attending a wide array of sessions within your schedule. Each session is followed by a facilitated discussion forum to reflect and help you get the most out of each session. Sessions and discussion boards will be available throughout the conference, so join when you can, your unique perspective is a superpower, making your contributions an important part of our legion! Sessions can also be viewed later, if you are busy with another mission and are not able to attend live. Participants will receive certificates with CPE or Clock hours for each session attended or viewed.

The Data Squad is a team of comprised of CLI subject matter experts in early childhood and are experts in the use of CLI Engage to support district goals. The Data Squad provides education advisement to support your better understanding of data evaluation, data analysis and instructional planning using data.
