TPRI and Tejas LEE alignments to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
TPRI and Tejas LEE are early reading assessments designed to identify the reading and comprehension development of students in grades 1 and 2. TPRI contains both a Screening and an Inventory Section.
The Branching Rules for TPRI are a resource for teachers intending to administer assessments. These documents lay out the process for each assessment and the next steps depending on the score of the student.
This TPRI Quick Reference Guide gives you the basics you need for successful administration of TPRI. Use the guide as a reference while administering the assessment.
TPRI and Tejas LEE reports include completion reports, growth reports, parent reports, parent feedback forms, class- level reports, individual student reports that include student percentile rankings, and a small grouping tool that provides links to the CIRCLE Activity Collection. Reports can be accessed at the following levels:
See how to access all TPRI and Tejas LEE reports here: Accessing Reports
The offline assessment feature can be used to assess students when an internet connection is not available at the time of administration. The offline assessment can also be used in the CLI Engage assessment practice area.
CLI developed test alternative administration functionality and protocols.
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance in using TPRI scores to identify students who qualify for instructional intervention (“at-risk” students).
Comprehensive training for TPRI and Tejas LEE is available in the Online Courses section of CLI Engage. Users can earn certificates for the completion of each course.
